Limestone started in 2009 with a man and a dream to be more hands-on and involved. Lonnie Green grew up getting his hands dirty working a multitude of construction jobs. Along the way he realized that he wanted to do things differently and be the man in charge! The one to make a change in the industry! When he took this idea home to his wife, Dana Green, she was not quite sure how they were going to do it, but that they were in it together! At the time, Dana and Lonnie had 2 small boys in school, and Dana was a teacher. She quit her job to dive in headfirst and initially established Limestone Construction in February of 2009!
Shortly after, Lonnie found his way all over Oklahoma, making connections and managing projects. Back in Owasso, Dana was raising the boys and managing contracts and invoices out of their home office. These projects consisted of quick turnaround restaurant upgrades and refreshes, including Panera Bread remodels and drive thru additions, remodel Dairy Queen into a Schlotszky's, and a new location for Slim Chickens are just a few of the projects.
In 2017, Limestone moved out of the home office and into the 2nd Fl of the Waterford Plaza in Owasso off 96th & 129th. As Limestone grew, we maintained work mostly through word of mouth in the restaurant industry and eventually pivoted towards larger, more long-term projects that aligned with our values! These projects included contracts with OSU Tulsa, TCC, AEP, L3 Harris, Bama Companies, and more. This lead to 2 Fire Station Remodels for the City of Owasso, a new addition for Junior Achievement of Oklahoma-Tulsa, and several Church refreshes, and a new food pantry for Northstar Church in Pryor.
We take pride in every single project and continue to offer a wide range of services with expertise that allows us to handle jobs of any size and scope, with a dedication to detail and meeting deadlines. As part of our dedication to quality construction, we only work with contractors who share our values. Our careful selection of contractors means you can feel confident about their work with them as well. We’re also able to partner with architects to add to the efficiency of a project. Our experience enables us to work with architects on any project and deliver the best possible results. This ensures projects progress smoothly and are completed on-time and on budget.
Another way we maintain partnerships with architects is through Construction Management. In 2023 Limestone Construction became a Certified Construction Management Firm and has performed several Construction Manager and Construction Manager At Risk projects. This has allowed Limestone's customer base to expand and further aid our community as we grow and expand!
Limestone also pride's itself on adhering to OSHA Safety protocols and standards. Our team members are OSHA certified and stay up to date with the latest policies to ensure the safety of our customers, sub-contractors, and employees. We have been incident-free since 2009, while receiving an A+ from the BBB. We are also registered with several tribal entities in Oklahoma, along with being registered in the state of Arkansas.
